VIDEO: eLDEE MLK Inspired 'One Day' (Official Premiere)

eLDee, one of Nigeria’s hip-hop stars and music mogul who will perform at the first ever Africa Fashion Week New York, released his new video, ‘One Day,’ today. With an opening that takes inspiration from Martin Luther King’s Junior’s ‘I have a Dream’ and Nelson Mandela’s inspirational quote on children, eLDee takes on the country’s socio-political issues: hunger, power supply, education, unemployment, poor infrastructure and health care.

eLDee is no novice when it comes to tackling tough political issues and calling Nigerians to action. ‘I go Yarn,’ one of his many hit singles, was his first video which took on the challenging problems facing the nation. The artist is also behind the #Light up Nigeria movement.

Nigeria continues to experience a revolution brought on by its youths. EnoughisEnough being a key example of where this change and push is coming.

Watch the video which was also shot and edited by eLDEE with cameos from M.I., Omawumi, Lami, among many .To see eLDee perform at AFWNY, visit AFWNY.com for more details and to purchase your tickets.
