American artists are used to performing and collaborating with their Asian counterparts in Asia. In contrast, Africans collaborating with Asian artists or touring Asia is rare. Akon breaks this pattern with a collaboration with China’s Wilber in ‘Be with You.’ We hope to see more African-Asian collabos in the future!
