The Dance Movie Project (TDMP) is Africa’s 1st Afrobeats dance movie produced by Alexander “Lexx” Ore of Lexxistalking Entertainment, and Directed by Idahosa Osagie of James Mavik Films, and is coming to a cinema near you in Nigeria!
The movie which enjoyed a successful New York premiere screening is scheduled for release at Cinemas in Nigeria starting Friday, September 9th, 2016.
The Dance Movie Project is inspired by real-life events. The plot follows a dancing duo of brothers, Femi and Wale, known as some of the best underground competition dancers in Lagos, Nigeria, who despite the disapproval of their single mother, continue to chase their passion for dance.
TDMP the movie features some of Africa’s best and finest dancers, musicians and celebrities including R&B Star Banky W, TV Personality Denrele Edun, Radio Personality Tolu Oniru (popularly known as Toolz), Former Britain’s Got Talent stars Ezinne Asinugo & Soliat of CEO dancers, Celebrity Actress Liz Anjorin, Celebrity Choreographer Donflexx, Movie Star Chris Okagbue, and many more.
