Luvvie Ajayi is an award-winning writer, humorist and digital strategist who believes in using the power of technology for social change.

A ten-year blogging veteran, she is the voice behind Awesomely Luvvie, a respected entertainment and humor blog that covers everything pop culture – from TV, movies and technology to life’s random adventures.

She is also the Executive Director of The Red Pump Project, a nonprofit that raises awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls using red shoes as a symbol of empowerment.

Luvvie is a columnist for TheGrio, has contributed her writing to XOJane, EBONY, Clutch Magazine and Uptown Magazine, and has been featured by the Chicago Sun-Times,Africa.com, Essence.com, AOL.com, Black Enterprise, The Root and more.

She was winner of the 2012 Women’s Media Center Social Media Award, a 30 under 30 JET Magazine honoree, and is one of Babble’s 25 Bloggers Changing the World. Luvvie is an alum of the University of Illinois.
