Supermodel Adebisi Sowemimo

BisiIt is not unusual to see Nigerian models dominate the catwalks at Africa’s fashion mecca, South Africa. Leading the pack in the green white gree domination is Nigeria/Africa’s Supermodel Bisi Sowemimo. Managed by the prestigious Ice Model Management, Sowemimo’s long legs, slim and toned body and chiseled facial bone structure makes her one of the highly sought after and biggest models in South Africa.

She has featured in numerous magazines including on the covers of True Love West Africa and South Africa’s Cosmopolitan Magazines, she was a contestant on the reality modeling competition Revlon Supermodel, which aired on SABC3 from November to December, 2007 and the first winner of Nigeria Model Awards in 2004.

Modeling, however, is not all Sowemimo has going for her. She is a 2007 graduate of Birnam College with a degree in public relations and event management.

Get a taste of Sowemimo’s strong strides at the recent Arise Africa Fashion Week in Pambili, Mustafa Hassanali and Jewel by Lisa designs, among the many designers she strutted for.
