Organizers of the 2015 Miss Africa USA Coronation Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday August 29th, have just announced the return of the event to the Fillmore Theater in Silver Spring, MD.
This year’s event marks the 10th anniversary of the pageant show, which is focused don empowering young women leaders and fostering goodwill.
“The Pageant selected the Fillmore Theater because it is located at the heart of the African Community,” explained founder Lady Kate Njeuma. “The City of Silver Spring is very vibrant and fun and we believe our finalists and their guests will have a great time in the city.”
The pageant is a week long celebration with several event highlights such as a leadership forum with some of Africa’s First ladies and community leaders, outdoor talent and cultural contest (which is free and open to the public), a grand awards and recognition banquet culminating to the grand finals and coronation ceremony.
