SAVETHE DATE: ‘In the Cupboard,’ the latest Nollywood flick executive produced by Desmond Elliot and Caroline Danjuma, and starring Nollywood A-List actress Ini Edo, will be released in theaters, nationwide, on August 17th, 2012.

The movie which successfully screened in the U.S last year, is a story that “revolves around the lives of six siblings born into the rich, aristocratic family, The Desouza family; a name synonymous with wealth & power. Everything seems perfect in their lives until their father dies, unexpectedly. The (siblings) convene from different parts of the world, for two weeks, to be with their mother, the elegant matriarch Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Desouza (Biola Williams), as the family grieved the death of Mr. Desouza. What (unfolds) is a series of events that threatens to shake the family to its very foundation.”

‘In the Cupboard,’ marketed under Emem Isong’s Royal Arts Academy, is a movie with a star-studded cast that includes “Nollywood lead actress Ini Edo alongside Big Brother Africa Winner, Uti Nwachukwu, Award winning Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, Mr Nigeria 1st Runner-Up, Alexx Ekubo, ZAFAA Award winner, Bishop Ime Umoh and features upcoming actors Morris Sesay and Tessy Abubakar. ”
