The inaugural Nigerian Event Awards recognizing the hard and above average work performance of Nigerian event planners took place last week. Winners included The Future Awards who won Nigerian Event of the Year, Zapphire Event who won the Outstanding Contribution to the Event Industry, BellaNaija who won the Best Event Coverage Online, Eko Hotel who won Hotel Coverage of the Year and the Calabar Festival 2010 who won Best Government Event of the Year.
