WHY NOLLYWOOD IN HOLLYWOOD
The Nigerian Film Industry has taken great strides. But, its attempts at attracting international attention from film festivals and roadshows have achieved minimal results. For the first time, NOLLYWOOD will have the undivided attention of Hollywood and the international entertainment media. With two of the leading institutions in Hollywood presenting the event, it’s time for Nollywood to present its voices,
vision, and attract cooperation and partnerships. The event kicks off with a red carpet opening night at The historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, the first time a Nollywood film will play in a major cinema in Hollywood. A postscreening Nigerian-themed party follows in the courtyard of The Egyptian.
