Nigeria International Fashion Week, April 26th-30th, 2010

With a website that can only spell, “Nigeria Fashion Industry Open for Serious Business,” Nigeria International Fashion Week 2010 prepares for its inaugural launch with a line up of  the country’s most creative fashion designers, “to project authentic Nigerian designs to the world.” NIFW organizers explain, the “goal of the fashion week is promoting exportation of Nigerian fashion. Everyone knows Nigerian fashion is the most stylish on the globe.”

The five day fashion week includes: “Fashion Presentations, Designs on Catwalk,One on One fashion presentation with foreign and Nigerian media, Sales of designers clothes at Event, Special Celebrity auctions for 4 star and 5 star participants, Business Networking and Interactive business forum with investors, bankers and exporters on modalities for export and business growth.”

The Nigeria International Fashion Week 2010 is an assemblage of the best and most creative fashion designers in Nigeria to project authentic Nigerian designs to the world. The goal of the fashion week is promoting exportation of Nigerian fashion. Everyone knows Nigerian fashion is the most stylish on the globe. The event starts from the 26th of April till the 30th of April, 2010. The five days event includes:

  • Fashion Presentations ( Designs on Catwalk)
  • One on One fashion presentation with foreign and Nigerian media
  • Sales of designers clothes at Event
  • Special Celebrity auctions for 4 star and 5 star participants.
  • Business Networking
  • Interactive business forum with investors, bankers and exporters on modalities for export and business growth

TYPES OF ENTRIES IN THE FASHION WEEK 2010 [APRIL 26-30]

  • ** (2 star entry)                     ———-   N 250,000.00
  • *** (3 star entry)                  ———-    N500,000.00
  • **** (4 star entry)               ———–   N750, 000.00
  • ***** (5 star entry)            ———–   N1,000,000.00

Kindly note: The higher star entries will be exposed to more opportunities at the event. If for any reason on our part, you are unable to participate in the event; your entry fee will be fully refunded to you before the commencement of the event without any legal consequence towards Events International. Participant(s) might be required to undergo a day or two days orientation by us before the commencement of the event.

STANDARD PRIVILEGES FOR THE VARIOUS ENTRY LEVELS FOR FASHION WEEK

All of the privileges below are standard for all levels of participation especially the ** (2 star entry).

In addition to the above standard privileges, the *** (3 star entry) includes:

  1. One on One fashion presentation with foreign and Nigerian media
  2. 3 days sales of designers clothes at Event

**** (4 star)

In addition to the above standard privileges, the **** (4 star entry) includes:

  1. One on One fashion presentation with foreign and Nigerian media
  2. 4  days sales of designers clothes at Event
  3. A day of celebrity auction

 

***** (5 star)

In addition to the above standard privileges, the ***** (5 star entry) includes:

  1. One on One fashion presentation with foreign and Nigerian media
  2. 5  days sales of designers clothes at Event
  3. 2 days of celebrity auction

    from my understanding it’s also going to show case upcoming designers but i cant find any information based on that. but i believe the event is going to explode the nigerian fashion into the global world . keep up the good work and please let me have information on how upcoming designers can gain assess to the event. thank you.

    this is a good project and it coming at the right time because most nigerians see a sahion event as a way of entertain their friend and well wisher and not an avenue to make money and notwork.with an event like this you will see nigerian desingers competing with their conterpart any where in the world favoureably
