New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013: William Okpo

At the William Okpo Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show, it was a masculine meets feminine world with an emphasis on masculinity that was at once adrogynous yet sensual enough for the Okpo woman. Comfort and functionality was the order of the day as the sisters juxtaposed neutral and bold colors to put a little sass into streetwear from their lens.

According to the designers, Darlene and Lizzie Okpo, “the collection is inspired by downtown streetwear. It’s a young and cool style.”

For makeup, Aveda Global Makeup Director Janell Geason paired luminous skin with a bright, bold lip using the Aveda Spring/Summer 2013 Color Collection.

“The makeup is natural but daring at the same time,” says Geason. “The skin looks lightly bronzed and glowing, like beautiful summer skin. The bright lip is fun and fearless with a matte finish to balance the radiant complexion.”
