Cameroon’s @MyraMaimoh debuts inspiring new ‘UNIQ’ EP album and video on self love | #LadybrilleMusic

Cameroon’s Myra Maimoh debuts a stunning new extended play (EP) album titled ‘UNIQ’, and a music video on self-love that we absolutely love!

On the album, Maimoh showcases a very sweet voice to the ears, and one with great vocal range. She also incorporates an R&B and African inspired musical influences to deliver very positive messages on hope, patience, faith, dealing with terminal illnesses, depression and low self-esteem.

Maimoh was born in Bamenda, the North West Region of Cameroon, and grew up in a home full of music. Her mother owned records by Skeeter Davies, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, all of which heavily influenced her. Maimoh was also influenced by her mother’s taste for diverse African music genres from jazz to pop.

Prior to launching her career as a recording and performing artist, she worked  as a successful session musician, lending her vocals to diverse artists.

Her EP, which contains six songs, was recorded in the United States, but mixed and mastered in Cameroon.
