SET BEAUTIFUL FREE is an initiative of Bombay Teen Challenge, a registered 501 (c) 3 non profit organization that has been combatting sex trafficking in India since 1990. With health clinics in the red light district offering free anti retro viral treatment to those affected with HIV, to survivor homes outside the city of Mumbai, to a school that was just built in collaboration with the American School of Mumbai for the children of sex workers, Set Beautiful Free aims to restore hope and dignity to victims of sex trafficking through education, healthcare and after care.The statistics are eye opening and heartbreaking.1.2 million children are forced into prostitution in India each year.95% of children born to women in prostitution become trafficked.73% of those girls born inside the brothel system remain enslaved in prostitution for life.Date : October 2nd, 2014Time : 6pm to 10pmLocation : Manhattan Penthouse80, 5th Avenue,New York, NY 10011Tickets can be bought online at setbeautifulfree.org/newyork and are priced at $150 each.
