After wowing audiences with her heart-warming, acoustic rendition of eLDee’s “Today Today”, Aramide is back with her debut singles “I Don’t Mind” and “It’s Over”.
On “I Don’t Mind”, Aramide shines vocally over the lush instrumentation of a 70′s big band and triumphant horns. Known for her acoustic prowess while crooning smooth melodies, Aramide puts down the guitar and showcases her versatility and powerful vocals as she belts out a defiant and fierce defense of her love against the doubters and naysayers.
Haunting piano keys then introduce us to “It’s Over” as Aramide recounts lost love and the process of moving on while emphatically insisting that there will be no second chances. Starting shyly with recollections of her relationship, the talented songstress’ voice booms stronger as her conviction that the relationship is over grows from verse to verse. Aramide delivers a stirring vocal performance that anyone who has tried to end a relationship can relate to.
