MERCEDES-BENZ & VOGUE FASHION NIGHT ONCE AGAIN THE RENDEZVOUS FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY

The event has now become a tradition, and the invitations to it are without doubt the most sought-after of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin: we’re talking, of course, about the Mercedes-Benz & VOGUE Fashion Night. For the fourth time, Christiane Arp, Editor-in-Chief of VOGUE, and Anders Sundt Jensen, Head of Brand Communications for Mercedes-Benz Cars, invited the who’s who of the fashion world to the exclusive get-together in the Restaurant Borchardt. Just like last season, Andrea Karg, Dorothee Schumacher, Viktoria and Gerd Strehle, Kilian Kerner, Marcel Ostertag, Michael Sontag, Patrick Mohr and Dimitri were there, joined by numerous celebrities, including the stars involved with the current Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week campaign, Karolina Kurkova and Craig McDean, as well as Nico Rosberg, Lilly and Boris Becker, Berlin’s Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit, Til Schweiger, Sylvie van der Vaart and Clemens Schick.

The Mercedes-Benz and VOGUE Fashion Night, which marks the curtain-up on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, has become a firm fixture as an important meeting place for the industry that attracts the 350 most exciting faces of the fashion industry – including designers, opinion leaders, retailers and celebrities with a penchant for fashion. Networking and the exchange of opinions on the latest developments and Germany as a centre of fashion were generally the focal areas of interest. Of course, the first-day fashion shows and the expectations for the days to come were also hot topics of conversation.

The guests clearly had plenty to talk about, since over drinks and a running buffet, they chatted and partied until well after midnight.
