If you have never heard of her, allow us to introduce you to a dynamic young woman that goes by the name of DJ Soupamodel. She is the first and currently the Number 1 (#1) female DJ out of Africa in the USA music show biz; and a music producer producing music for T-Pain’s Nappyboy record label. DJ Soupamodel is also the owner of her own music company, Music Boulevard Group.
Of Nigerian heritage, DJ Soupamodel and Music Boulevard Group have worked with the best of the best in the USA music industry including Earth Wind and Fire, T.I, Tpain, Mims, Dj Khaled, Jason Derulo, Wyclef, Dorrough, Ace Hood, B2K, Artists on Konvict Music, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, just to name a few.
She tells us her goal is to not only to make music, but do so with an eye towards impacting both Africa, USA and women in general, in a powerful way. “There really isn’t a lot of us (women) as emcees or DJs in this industry,” said DJ Soupamodel. She is currently working on the Nappyboy All Stars “Black and Yellow” remix. In the meantime, hear some of her production work below.
