South Korea’s prolific rapper and trailblazer JK Tiger aka Drunken Tiger has been on a mission, for a while now, to unite cultures through music. In 2008, the rapper teamed up with America’s rap legend Rakim for a collaboration. 2010, he is ready to that again, this time at the 2010 MNET Asian Music Awards global platform.
“No matter what music you do, you will never advance if you’re forever trapped in a small pond,” said Tiger to the press regarding the collaborations. “To have an Asian music awards ceremony such as MAMA introducing music from all parts of Asia, and showing interest in one another is very welcoming to me as an artist.”
JK Tiger will collaborate with Roscoe Umali (Philippines), Stylistic Jones (USA) and ZEEBRA (Japan).
