Emerging artists Adekunle Gold and Simi collaborate to produce their hit single ‘Make you no forget.’ Make You No Forget tells of a story about a man in love with a woman. However, her mother is adamant that he stay away from her daughter and cites many reasons, including his inability to take care of her. He is forced to abandon his attempts to be with her until he can prove his ability to take care of her. As he leaves, she reminds him not to forget her and to return quickly. He also makes the same plea that she not forget him as he ventures to earn the necessary living to be able to take care of her.
What is a particular standout are the vocals and the effortlessness in which they are delivered over simple instrumentals.
