The Lagos State Government is hosting the premier edition of the Lagos Carnival. This is envisaged as an enjoyable family outing for the residents of the State as well as a tourist event. During the Lagos Carnival 2010 the parades and floats will traverse major streets on Lagos Island and for the first time will also include Ikoyi and Victoria Islands. These will all culminate at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in a grand display.
The Lagos Carnival 2010 takes place over the Easter Weekend in April 2010. The following events make up the Lagos Carnival 2010:
Saturday 3rd April 2010 – Miss Lagos Carnival Beauty Pageant & Gala Dinner
Monday 5th April – Children’s Carnival
Monday 5th April 2010 – Adult’s Carnival
