  1. From experience, I can only describe Nigeria as Hell on Earth – the worst country on earth, because Nigerians made it that way.

Googling “nigeria hell earth” it appears others feel the same.

  2. @ Deola: Odd you should accuse him of all talk and no action. Is he not the founder of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG)? Did the group not march in January, 2010 to protest the power hijack as a result of Yar’Adua’s illness? Did the country not sit up and pay attention then? Did he not jump into the fray in the last elections because he had something to offer? Has he not consistently (at the risk of life and property) spoken truth to men in power? Few Nigerian pastors – nay, Nigerians, PERIOD – can match Bakare’s record of public service in recent times. With all due respect to your right to have an opinion, your comment is factually incorrect.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the problems we are having in Nigeria, we get too easily carried away by grandeur speeches, SOLUTIONS PLEASE! I would respect him more if he took to the streets to lead a non-violent protest against corruption or Even if he went on hunger strike to pass for example an anti-corruption bill, like the guy in INDIA recently did. So until then with all due respect Pastor Bakare, all you have to offer is just words and nothing else! So you are just guilty as every other Nigerian who continues to suffer while smiling, in addition you are suffering while talking!

I respect Pastor Bakare for saying it like it is at a time when Nigeria is evidently on the brink of disaster and everyone else appears to be content with pussy-footing. I’m Nigerian and I’m an idiot for letting things get this bad. For everyone who hates Bakare, there are so many more who love him. Great Nigerian, Great Man.
