The Fashion 4 Vision annual Masquerade ball is A Charity fundraising cum advocacy event aimed at not only fundraising but advocating the need for a right to all Tanzanians to have a healthy vision. This annual event shall be the lion’s club signature event where by it shall bring all leaders from various sectors in Tanzania under one roof for one purpose serving the society to sight for life.
The Lions Club of Dar Host and the Lions Club of Mzizima, the two clubs who have joined forces to work together on this Campaign, zeal and zest to serve have saved various lives by proving FREE eye check up clinics to the public through out Tanzania.

Observing these Lions working, true Knights f Blind a phrase coined by Hellen Keller, her- self blind in a speech, her request to the Lions “I appeal to you Lions, you who have your sight; your hearing; you who are strong, brave and kind. Will you not constitute yourselves Knights of the Blind in this crusade against darkness?”
Inspired Lions Clubs International to adopt the Sight Conservation and Work with the Blind Program as a major service initiative.-

Thus the name Fashion 4 Vision is inspired by the conglomeration of two subsidies the need to serve , and the need to bring the fashion industry to use its various hues to save sights of the most vulnerable poverty stricken people in our society. Thus using Fashion 4 Health’s slogan, a brand by Mustafa Hassanali an enterprising Designer cum philanthropist with a medical background to join forces with lions’ club to host Fashion 4 Vision advocating Sight is life.
Fashion 4 Vision, Annual Charity Masquerade Ball by Lions club of Dar Host and Mzizima will be held on 11 June 2011 at the Kempinski hotel from 7.30Pm Onwards. The ball shall include Fashion Show by Mustafa Hassanali and Jamilla Vera Swai, gala Dinner and Dance. The Proceeds from this event shall go towards the Lions Club Save your Sight Campaign.
