The South African pageantry and modelling industries will soon be gaining a long awaited platform for showcasing all things related to the sector. Models & Pageantry SA magazine will feature beauty, fashion, genuine and practical “how to” tips, profiles of the hottest models and/or pageant title holders, and the latest and greatest trends. With a fusion of glitz and glamour and the best industry expertise, the glossy e-magazine will serve to inspire, motivate and educate tweens, teens and adults that know what they want from the modelling, pageantry, fashion and beauty industries.
According to the Editor in Chief, Madelain Roscher, the magazine is the only in its field to provide information straight from within the modelling and pageantry sectors. “This publication will be unlike anything the continent has ever seen before. We have some of the best industry experts as contributors who will share their valuable expertise through in-depth editorial, exclusive insider information, secrets and tips, and practical feedback that will offer readers real value.”
Further, to ensure that content is relatable, all modelling schools and agencies, and pageant training facilities are invited to submit their event and competition images, and inform the magazine of exclusive events that need to covered, as well as those that require the industry’s participation for inclusion in the social pages.
Launching online in December 2013, Models & Pageantry SA will present an alluring mix of content that is suited to its 60% female and 40% male readers that fall within the LSM 6 to 10+ sectors.
Over and above the readership benefits, a variety of advertising opportunities are available including an affordable directory listing to include companies and brands relevant to this lifestyle sector.
Roscher adds that even the most discerning globe trotter will soon be updated on the happenings in South Africa’s modelling and pageantry industries as this digital publication will be easily searchable, printable and downloadable in an electronic format as it is suited to desktops, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices.
“Even though the magazine will be seen as an easy-to-read guide that is a meaningful and helpful source of industry related information, Models & Pageantry SA will still be aesthetically pleasing, reflecting all the components of an international glossy magazine. Through industry experts’ input, we look forward to becoming the go-to-guide and authority on all things modelling and pageantry related,” she concludes.”
