Today, we bring you exclusive MNet 53 Extra interview footage of Ada Mgbudem- Creative mind behind Ella & Gabby, one of Nigeria’s fast-growing luxury brand.
Mrs Mgbudem chatted with the beautiful presenter of 53Extra- Eku Edewora while back.

The collection is absolutely mind blowing; the bright colours and prints all carefully hand stitched and embellished is absolutely a cure for sore eyes! We haven’t seen any designs out of Nigeria this refreshing in a really long time. We love the exquisite tribal prints, floor length elegant dresses and teasing cut-outs, words can’t simply describe how much we love each piece.

About Adaobi Mgbudem
Adaobi Mgbudem is a graduate of International Languages from the University of Port Harcourt and the Creative Director of Ella and Gabby.
Inspired by her mum and Home Economics teacher, at the age of eight, she hand stitched a night gown; it was then she fell in love with Fashion Design.
Growing up in the midst of professionals, although she always had an interest in Fashion, she chose to be an entrepreneur working in real estate, hospitality and securities where she recorded great achievements.
In 2010, she turned her attention to her passion and went for courses at Central Saint Martins London: School of Fashion and Textiles to hone her skills as a fashion designer. In April 2012, Adaobi launched ELLA & GABBY.
Her debut collection is sophisticated, yet elegantly understated reflecting her aesthetic sensibility and impeccable artisanship. ELLA & GABBY tells a timeless story with its impressive clean lines, classic silhouettes and exquisite craftsmanship giving a sense of exclusive fantasy and a return to true elegance and beauty.
Adaobi Mgbudem, so zen, is married and a mother to three great children.
