Founded in 2007, Ladybrille® Magazine is a California based pioneer digital publication demystifying the image of Africans in the west through contemporary African fashion and celebrating the brilliant woman in business and leadership, with an emphasis on the African woman in the diaspora. Our coverage includes stories on capital, access to markets, expertise, hiring and retention, sales, marketing, and promotions.

The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25th, 2015 in Los Angeles. It was a night where we saw African actresses shine. Kenya’s Lupita Nyong’o looked stunning on the red carpet and Nigeria’s Uzo Aduba walked away with two awards. Also shinning for the evening was Actress Viola Davis who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in ‘How to Get Away with Murder.’
