African Cinema: New York’s MINA TV Presents ‘The African Millennials Take Over Miami’ Reality Show

The African Millennials also called “The AM’s”, is a reality TV talk show featured on Mina TV Africa. With a cast of 10 millennials all under 30 and from various African backgrounds, the unscripted program shocks viewers with its raw perspective on social issues that plague both the Black and African communities.

This season, eight of the Millennials, Tayo, Nestreya, Kristia, Senami, Kieran (KMS), Milan, Francis and Acrown, escape the Big Apple for a week to bond and relax in a posh mansion in the 305. However, in true African Millennial fashion, they manage to pack their huge personalities and bring their unfiltered opinions along for the ride.

During the first episode, the guys switch roles and show off their skills in the kitchen, proving that men actually know a thing or two about cooking, not just eating. However, jollof rice wasn’t the only thing cooking. Things heated up outside of the kitchen between Francia and Milan as Francia claims her territory and brazenly lets her desire for Milan be known. Other steamy love interests amongst the AM’s come from under the surface as well, giving a taste of what’s to come during this season.

Outside of the romance department, the AM’s take time during their vacation to create a deeper connection amongst one another, shed their tough exteriors and expose their inner fears and desires. To see more of the drama unfold as the AM’s explore the city of Miami, be sure to tune in for new episodes every Wednesday on Mina TV Africa YouTube channel.

The African Millennials Miami takeover is a special 6-week series.
