Africa Fashion International (AFI), organizer of Africa Fashion Week (AFW) Johannesburg, returns for round two of the Pan African show without its title sponsor, Arise Magazine. Nevertheless, the event is pushing forward and also re-branding with a new logo, a revamped website, an online African boutique selling the African designs that will be shown on the runway and a AFW blog for daily updates.
AFI has also extended its re-branding efforts into the West with invitations to leading African designers and African fashion personalities in the diaspora, including to the popular Mataano and Korto Momolu labels. The second annual Africa Fashion Week takes place June 30th-July 3rd, 2010. The Africa Fashion Week Awards take place July 5th, 2010. Returnees from the continent include Ituen Basi (Nigeria), David Tlale (SA) and Christie Brown (Ghana), to name a few. Designer Deola Sagoe is also expected to show.

I went on the site to get volunteer information. I sent 2 emails. 4 days later.. still nothing. I have heard the same lack of a response via Facebook users. Do you have any info on who to contact?
Much appreciated and keep up the good work! Love the VOGUE AFRICA story!
