Project Fame West Africa is a popular show, like American Idol, where contestants compete to become West Africa’s next big singing sensation. Each week, contestants compete for the chance to win it all. Based on their performances, they are placed on probation and made to visit specific location to sing and solicit for votes. The contestant with the least vote is sent home at the elimination show and another set of contestants are placed on probation at the weekly nomination show.
At the end of what turns out to be a very competitive 10 week competition which includes voice training, only one contestant emerges winner. Last year, Inyanya Mbuk emerged winner taking home 2.5 Million Naira (Nigerian Naira) cash prize and a brand new Toyota Rav 4 Jeep.
