It was another exciting evening of the media practitioners monthly gathering last Sunday, May 7th, at the emperor’s place, Victoria Island, Lagos. The hangout which creates an enabling environment for communication professionals to interact with each other and other media houses attracted about 300 people from the print, online, television, and radio industries.
The event hosted by Spice TV’s Ariyike Akinbobola honored Nollywood star Funke Jenifa Akindele who discussed Female Genital Mutilation and her role in lending her voice to the UNICEF campaign to end FGM.
The highlight of the event included entertainment mogul Ibe Boco’s music business talk and well-designed cakes for guests to take home.
