Ladybrille Magazine sends our condolences to Ladybrille woman alum Supermodel Iman who lost her husband, music icon David Bowie, to cancer last night.
During the course of his career, the sixty nine year old music icon released 25 studio LPs. His last studio album was ‘Black Star,’ of which he had a birthday and listening party three days ago, January 8th, 2016 to celebrate his work.
Acknowledging their loss, the family released the following message on Facebook confirming his death:
January 10 2016 – David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.
May his soul rest in peace and our condolences to Iman and the rest of the Bowie family.
