Lupita Nyong’o makes the cover of American Vogue, a huge accomplishment in such short time. The fashion industry, as I have said, has been very good to Lupita. The Western fashion industry has always had an obsession for African models or models that look just like Lupita. When she shows up on the scene with the film background and popularity of 12 Years a Slave, you can bet your fashion socks off that many magazines will be clamoring as they are now to feature on every cover possible and in every editorial.
