“On March 22, 2014, UN World Water Day, FACE Africa hosted its 5thAnnual WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Gala in New York City at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers.
The Gala attracted over 300 guests and raised close to $150,000, with Chevron Liberia to provide a matching $100,000 grant, all of which will fund 30 clean water projects in Rivercess County, Liberia and provide 12,000 people with clean water.
Sponsors for the Gala included The Coca-Cola Company, Voss Water, Go Green Ride, MyExtensionz, Ecohomes Liberia, Ilene Miriam, The Khana Group and Ethiopian Airlines.”
