On May 9th, 2013, at the historic Palace of Fine Arts Theater, the School of Fashion at the Academy of Art University awarded Max Azria and Lubov Azria of BCBGMAXAZRIA Honorary Doctorate degrees for their remarkable contributions to the fashion industry. The event also saw the annual showcase of the school’s graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony featuring collections from students who majored in the areas of Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Technical Design, Textile Design, and Jewelry/Metal Arts. Select M.F.A. and B.F.A. graduating students also presented their work to industry professionals at the Portfolio Review and Reception before the show.
