The bar has been truly raised as every now and then rappers who bring a breath of fresh air into the scene are birthed. One of such rappers is Sam Jamz.
Samuel Jamgbadi, or “Sam Jamz” as he is often called is a Contemporary Gospel Rapper from the city of Lagos. His style is very captivating as always he uses experiences of everyday people to spread the good news. Sam Jamz has worked underground for a couple of years and rocked a number of jam sessions with the likes of TB1 (the crooner on the track “Na So”), Obishine, Phishaman, Rooftop MCs, Isaiah Samson, Protek, N.U.T.T.Y Josh, Spaceshipboi (of the Don Jazzy Enigma Beat competition) and BOUQUI just to mention a few. His album “Sam and Delilah” is currently in the works!
For Sam Jamz, music is not only where he has his eyes on or he has talent being exhibited in; he is also a fast rising cinematographer cum on-air personality. His show “Gospel Rave” is arguably the most watched gospel music chart show, airing on KingdomAfricaNetworks.
His recent single “Baba Agbalagba” {produced by OSH} is a street savvy upbeat joint. It’s a must have.”
