Neks2u as a follower of French cinema and the Cannes festival I can honestly tell you that Steph was on point! Understated yet rich and exquisite fabrics in muted and neutral colours is the height of class for the lovelys that appear on the French circuit. If you look at other African females in the French arena (e.g. Aissa Maiga) they are often more in their natural African element all the way up to having our hair “nachi”. Make-up is also often understated with one portion with panache for example playing up the eyes with unusual colors or Steph’s red lips. The French tend to like effortless, natural beauty as opposed to the over-botoxed, over-painted, over-luxe, over everything style of the U.S. entertainment biz and its players.

Quite frankly, I think it’s way sexier!

  4. Definitely… I love the fact that she went for cornrows to show her african roots on an international stage… The dress is gorgeous as well. She totally nailed it.

  5. Hair is horrible! Dress is alright…..an ok look, coulda done better.
