This is it. I have one more step to the highest mountain of my year. SHE Summit 2015 kicks off tomorrow. Over 2 days, 2,000 women will fill the halls of 92Y in NYC and thousands will be tuning in on Livestream around the U.S. and world to gain significant empowerment and education from 80 groundbreaking speakers.
Why are these 48 hours significant? Because we live in a GENDER UNEQUAL world and we need full participation from all women and men on this planet to do something about it. This “something” means raising the bar on going after that dream you’ve had for yourself, your family and your community… on shattering any internal barriers and limiting beliefs you have about yourself ONCE & FOR ALL… on envisioning your highest potential to live your most purposeful and happiest life… on cultivating more SELF LOVE & SELF RESPECT because women are the hardest on themselves. SHE Summit sessions will give you the tools to do this, BUT here’s the thing: YOU HAVE TO CARE ABOUT THE FEMALE GENDER.
Women have to care about the state of women and get behind movements that matter and relate to them. This is the ONLY way we can ACCELERATE to a gender equal world which means a better world for your families, livelihood and this shared planet. I am NOT waiting a century for gender equality and thus, am committed to achieving it by 2030. This is goal #5 of the Sustainable Development Goals that were recently announced by the United Nations.
