2013 F.A.C.E List Awards to Honor Korto Momolu, AMAA’s Peace Osigwe & Jackie Appiah on JUNE 15th, 2013

On June 15, 2013, Face2face Africa will host the 2013 F.A.C.E. List Awards, generously sponsored by State Farm and Arik Airlines, where six pan-African Movers and Shakers will be honored for their commitment to excellence. The black tie event will commence at promptly 7pm with a reception /red carpet, followed by the award ceremony from 8pm-10pm.

This year’s distinguished six honorees include the Executive Secretary of the Economic Comission for Africa Dr. Carlos Lopes, Founder and CEO of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Founder and Publisher of The network Journal Aziz Adetimirin, Notable Fashion Designer Korto Momolu, Founder of the African Development Foundation George Ntim, and Actress Jackie Appiah.

As an organization devoted to being “The Voice” of the emergent generation of African descendants, Face2face Africa established The F.A.C.E. List Awards in 2011 as a platform to acknowledge, celebrate, and honor the outstanding achievements of Africans and friends of Africa who are contributing towards a more dynamic and advanced global community.

There will be several musical acts, performances and surprises throughout the night. The show will be hosted by the eloquent and brilliant Eric J. Henderson of Huffington Post, and will take place at The Times Center in the heart of New York City. Red carpet will commence at 7pm sharp!
