2013 AMAA Awards: Rita Dominic’s ‘The Meeting’ & Yvonne Okoro’s ‘The Contract’ Each Lead the Pack with Six Nominations + Full Nominees List

AMAA AWARDS Nominees 2013On March 15th, 2013, African film practitioners gathered in the South-Eastern country of Malawi with a special guest, Joyce Banda (President of Malawi), to announce and celebrate the 2013 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nominees. Nominated and each leading in six categories at the AMAAs are Ghanaian-Nigerian Actress & Producer Yvonne Okoro (‘The Contract’) and Nigerian Actress & Producer Rita Dominic (‘The Meeting’). Rita Dominic’s The Meeting was co-produced and directed by Mildred Okwo.

The 2013 AMAA Awards will be held (in) (April) in Bayelsa, Nigeria.
