“ONE DAY TO CELEBRATE, SUPPORT AND EMPOWER WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS WORLDWIDE.”
We are proud to announce that New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo is planning to proclaim November 19th, 2014 as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. We have a student ambassador global initiative in full swing with top colleges engaged including Stanford, Duke, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Columbia, Barnard, Babson and University of Oxford, and a global team of World Ambassadors from China to Pakistan primed to activate their communities with the WED movement. Our mission is to engage women and men globally to pledge their support to a women entrepreneur or cause to support their community with Talent, Time, or Treasure. On December 3rd, we will also launch the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving the #WomenWOW social media campaign to encourage everyone to support women entrepreneurs and causes that will inspire millions just like Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday.
We will celebrate the unwavering positives that women entrepreneurs bring to the global economy as well as empower and support future generations.”- Wendy Diamond – CEO and Founder of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day

A Day That Launches a Movement Where the World Unites in Support of Women Entrepreneurs
The total number of women on the planet since 2013 is almost 3.6 Billion! Yet the World Economic Forum reports that no nation has yet to achieve gender equality – depending on where they live, women only have access to 58-70% of the economic, educational, health and political resources and opportunities available to men 1 Let’s change this and make 2014 the year everyone must come together and make a massive impact to support women owned businesses all over the world by taking the WOW™ pledge today.
We are asking every man and woman to join us in supporting a woman entrepreneur or woman-focused cause of her choice in honor of the first Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) by making the WOW™ pledge to Celebrate, Support and Empower Women…
