November 19th, 2014 served as the inauguration of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in the USA, a day celebrating women entrepreneurs worldwide; the brainchild of Wendy Diamond. The event was held at the United Nations in New York and included several panel sessions and speeches, and an awards event honoring President Barack Obama’s paternal grandmother, Mama Sarah Obama.
