On Tuesday,President Barack Obama spoke at the memorial service held for five police officers — Brent Thompson, Patrick Zamarripa, Michael Krol, Michael Smith, and Lorne Ahrens — who were killed in Dallas last week by a Sniper.
Obama’s speech showed empathy to the deceased officers and their families, and also touched on the lives of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile who were shot by police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota, respectively.
Obama concluded and urged that the country was not as divided as it may appear. In attendance at the memorial was Vice President Joe Biden and former President George W.
