On Monday December 19th, 2011, Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde along with twenty one others (including film director Teco Benson) were left stranded in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean near Victoria Island when the boat the occupied as part of an ongoing film shoot ran out of fuel.
All occupants of the boat were allegedly left stranded for approximately forty five minutes before they were rescued; according to interviews granted by a few who were on the boat to several media outlets.
It goes without saying that a director/production film crew should plan for obvious foreseeable situations like running out of fuel. Ridiculousness at its best. Thankfully, no lives were lost.
