Nigerians in the diaspora are determined to have a music award show on par with award events in the USA like MTV, BET the Grammy’s and so forth. This year’s Fourth Annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards hosted by Hollywood Actress Ebbe Bassey and Comedian Basorge Tariah Jr. stepped it up in notch with the ambience and feel of the event. While there were some logistic issues on the part of the producers that could have made the event much stronger i.e. starting on time!, nevertheless, where the producers failed, Nigeria’s artists many of whom flew from Nigeria to perform at Howard University’s Cramton Auditorium gave brilliant performances that had the audience on their feet.
The evening’s favorites included:Bigiano, YQ, G-Xploit and Midnight Live Crew.
