For Fall 2009, in with the more refined, sexy elegant Rachel Roy which translates into a very Ladybrille woman who knows what she is about, what she wants and how she is trying to get there.

Founded in 2007, Ladybrille® Magazine is a California based pioneer digital publication demystifying the image of Africans in the west through contemporary African fashion and celebrating the brilliant woman in business and leadership, with an emphasis on the African woman in the diaspora. Our coverage includes stories on capital, access to markets, expertise, hiring and retention, sales, marketing, and promotions.
From some of her first collections I really did like her trench coats and a few dresses. Her dresses seemed to have a ethereal quality about them which I found to be quite feminine. This collection does show a new direction of her vision however as with any emerging designer, they must grow and evolve and she is showing just that.
