“Okwei Veronny Odili is a musician and poet born in Lagos Nigeria on November 8th, 1984. Her love for music grew from listening to music as a child with her parents who were open minded in a diversity of musical sounds.
She joined the church choir thanks to her childhood best friend and learned to play some traditional musical instruments like Udu, Ekwe and Alo and in her late teens, became interested in the acoustic guitar finding that it complimented her rich voice. Shortly after, she began her solo career.”
She is inspired by life, her experiences as well as those of others, nature, and people.
Asides being a solo artiste she is a vocalist in Afrobeat/Jazz band, Ayetoro under music directions by renowned pianist, Funsho Ogundipe.”
