The last edition of HomeVida (Nigeria Integrity Film Awards) took place at Orientals Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos with a great number of celebrities in attendance.
The award event, which is an initiative of Public and Private Development Centre, is a film awards platform, which offers talented Nigerian filmmakers and scriptwriters the incentive to showcase their works to Nigerian, African and world audiences.
Every year, the HomeVida platform seeks endowment from public as well as private sector to promote any chosen value, theme or brand. Together with the endowing agency, they draw up criteria and disseminate them using their wide range of media networks to the public to send in short scripts that meets with the criteria. This category is targeted at young people between the ages of 16 – 30 years. Short film script entries are received through their website. Two of our short film productions are currently shortlisted in the Afrinolly Short Film competition.
The event was hosted by popular actor and event compere Joseph Benjamin saw in attendance some of the nominees as well as some of the known faces in the entertainment industry including rapper M.I, on-air-personality Uti Nwachukwu, former DG NFVCB Mr Emeka Mbah, veteran actress Joke Silva, media personality Gbemi Olateru, CEO HomeVida Mr. Chibuzo Ekwekwuo, Senator Enyinna Abaribe among others.
Among the winners for the night were Vitus Nnebue(Who will tell the president), Elvis Chucks(True Citizens), and Mendhie Emmanuel Imeh(Not a Do or Die).
