Former Nigerian football team player and Captain, Segun Odegbami (MON) will present his latest work entitled: Me, Football and More, a book, which details his peregrination through sports and the arts for the past 33years on Friday 6th September in London.
The Nigerian Embassy will play host to a wealth of celebrities, dignitaries, press, government officials and guests including the likes Ian Wright, Adebayo, his Afrobeats superstar daughter May7ven including Dr. Dalhatu Sarki Tarfida to launch the 350-paged book as one of Segun Odegbami’s proudest achievements.
Speaking on the book, he said, “you are all witnesses to my journey through sports, sports administration and the media-my days in Sports Souvenir and Complete Sports, as a television host, producer and presenter, as a historian, documenting events and building a library of information, data and pictures for posterity, as a manufacturer producing balls, kits and even clothes, as a radio analyst and football manager. “About a year ago, the idea to put together a compendium of some of these articles was mooted by a few persons that have been following this part of my life. Thus, we planted the seed of a book”
Guests will be treated to a meet & greet with the icon, Q&A session, photographs and the personalized signing of the conventional hard copy of the book. The book is also available as both an e-book and an audio book.
