The inaugural Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, we believe, has just opened the door to what will be a strong African designer-celebrity red carpet product placement culture. Until now, African designers have been quite slow in wanting to dress their own celebrities on the red carpet, opting instead to push their designs on American celebrities. However, with the powerful marketing and promotions machine AMVCA Awards offers, and the huge buzz it has created with its inaugural award, within and outside continent, we expect to see African designers and African celebrities work with each other a lot more.
Below is our curated list of African female celebrities who killed rocked the red carpet in stunning looks!
