Ronke Phillips, Recipient of Ochberg Fellowship

Ronke PhillipsRonke Phillips, correspondent for ITV’s “London Tonight,” has emerged as one of the recipients of the 2009 Ochberg Fellowship. The fellowship was established in 1999 by the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and is for Journalists who seek to deepen their coverage of violence and traumatic events. Briefly, Phillips has over twenty (20) years experience as a journalist in print, radio and television. She has worked as an anchor and reporter for national and regional television stations within and outside the United Kingdom. Besides the many accolades on her resume, she has also worked for the popular BBC Network: BBC Daytime, BBC features, BBC New York and GMTV.

Ronke Phillips along with other recipients of the Ochberg Fellowshipwill enjoy the unique opportunity to “learn from leading experts in the many dimensions of trauma and to forge relationships with colleagues who share their interests.”
