The 2017 GTBankFashionWeekend is one of biggest fashion events in Nigeria showcasing the best of fashion and style in Africa. This year’s event was held from Nov. 11-12th, 2017.
Day 1 began with insightful masterclasses by some of the biggest names in fashion and photography, including TY Bello, Shiona Turini, Vanessa Kingori MBE, Rebecca Osei-Baidoo. Day 1 ended with a fabulous runway show featuring some of Africa’s Top designers including, Taibo Bacar, Lanre Da-Silva Ajayi, Ituen Basi, Meena and American designer, Tracey Reese.
Day 2 began with masterclasses by Sophie Hedley, Danessa Myricks, Giles Deacon and Vanessa De Luca, and ended with a superb runway show featuring top African and International designers including, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Laquan Smith, Ladunni Lambo, Weizdhurm Franklin, Mille Collines and Julien Macdonald.
