Fifty, a movie produced by Nigerian media mogul and owner of EbonyLife Films, Mo Abudu, held its official premiere at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
The event attracted some of Nigeria’s top dignitaries, socialites, business tycoons, local and international press and entertainment celebrities such as King Sunny Ade, and Tiwa Savage who were some of the performers for the evening.
FIFTY is a brand new film from EbonyLife Films starring Ireti Doyle, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Omoni Oboli, and Nse Ikpe-Etim. With guest & cameo appearances by King Sunny Ade, Femi Kuti, Nneka, Tiwa Savage and Waje, the film was selected to screen at the 2015 London Film Festival in the ‘Love Category’
FIFTY captures the lives of four Nigeria women at the pinnacle of their careers. Meet Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate, four friends forced, at midlife, to take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos. They live and work in the resurgent, ever-bustling, 24-hour megacity of Lagos, the commercial capital of Africa’s biggest and most vibrant economy.”
